Touchuppaint advice

Colour matching & repair results

How we use your vehicle or colour code, why a dry test matters, and what to expect from a small paint repair.

From your reference to a colour test

  1. Start with the right details

Your registration helps identify the original vehicle colour. A known paint code or standard colour code gives a more specific reference. Tell us about a respray or a different-colour request.

  2. Treat the screen as a guide

Screen brightness, lighting and photographs change how colours look. A display swatch or vehicle colour name is not a physical paint standard.

  3. Compare a dried test

Mix and apply a small test as directed. Allow it to dry, then compare the shade in suitable light before continuing with the repair. Keep the paint reference and batch details.

  4. Set realistic expectations

Small touch-ups can make chips and scratches less conspicuous, but the repaired area may remain visible. Faded paint, previous repairs and metallic or pearlescent finishes can affect the result.
